Diana's Travel Chania Crete
A short 17km coach trip inland takes you to the foothills of the White Mountains where the 20 hectares of land has been transformed into a Botanical Park. A huge range of fruit trees from all over the world, herbs, medicinal & ornamental plants are amongst the lovely Cretan hills. On arrival at the park you are welcomed with a traditional tea & honey drink. You are then taken to the kitchen of the traditional restaurant where you are welcome to participate in preparing a typical Cretan meal (tzatziki & boureki). You are then led on a guided tour of the park to explore all the various plants & taste some /cretan wines.
The lunch that you helped prepare is then served in the restaurant where the views of the Cretan hillsides can be enjoyed.
Departure from the park is around 15.00 & then you are taken for a final stop in Chania town. Departing around 17.00 and returning back to your accommodation.
